BEEF PROCESSING
Founded in 2003, Creekstone Farms Ltd has been in the agriculture business for nearly 20 years, focusing on cattle and grain production. Through discussion with local and regional farmers, it has become ever apparent that additional processing capacity would help to ensure sustainability of the cattle industry. Our plan is to build a small beef processing facility near Cattleland Feedyards that would help bring this idea to reality.
THE FACILITY
The facility is being designed as a "custom processing" abattoir, providing the essential link between the farm and the retailer.
Custom Processing
High quality, Federally Inspected animal processing. Including Slaughter, Aging, Cutting, and Packaging. This type of processing requires highly skilled, professional meat cutters.
Hide and Offal Purchasing
The plant will have an experienced hide and offal marketing department to help the customer market the less desirable products.
Cattle and Beef Purchasing
The facility will also have an inhouse cattle and beef marketing team. This team will purchase cattle or beef from the surrounding area and market the products.
